Moonshot AI has officially launched Kimi K3.1 Pro, an upgraded 2.8-trillion-parameter reasoning model with a 1-million-token context window that ranks among the world's most capable systems. The Beijing-based startup announced plans to release the model weights by November 4, but revealed it deliberately excised cyber-offensive training data to prevent freely downloadable software from advancing frontier hacking risks.
