Global Giants Flood Jio Platforms Anchor Book With Over Twenty-Six Billion Dollars in Orders
Institutional investors submitted more than 26 billion dollars in anchor bids for Jio Platforms, oversubscribing its allocated institutional tranche by over 30 times. The unit of Reliance Industries allotted roughly 854 million dollars worth of shares at the upper price band to marquee names including BlackRock, Singapore sovereign wealth fund GIC, and Capital Group. The strong early demand sets the stage for India to conduct its largest-ever equity debut in local currency terms as Jio seeks a valuation of 108 billion dollars.
