Google Grants Users Control Over Visible AI Watermarks, Prioritizing Creative Freedom
Google is rolling out a new feature that allows users to remove visible watermarks from AI-generated content, including images, videos, and music. This change applies to models like Nano Banana, Omni, and Lyria, and will extend to Gemini and the video editor Flow. While visible watermarks will be optional, invisible SynthID watermarks and C2PA metadata will remain embedded for underlying content verification.
